A new hope?

Wow. The star wars title really suits this scenario.

Everyone at one point or another will feel hopelessness. I am not an exception. I too feel a struggle within me for hope. Dilemma between giving up and hoping. Theres an internal struggle for hope. I want to keep holding on to that hope. 'O' levels dont seem so far away now. Just in a few months, matter of weeks actually. I will just keep hoping and just keep holding.

And we often base our self worth on academics but we often fail to realised that we are worth more than just that.

I hate it how vulnerable humans are. But thats just how they are.

Rukku: Tampines rocks! Got safra, -goes on elaborating other examples of what tampines have and what pasir ris doesnt- and it also got MRT!
Me: err... Pasir ris also got mrt... -.-

Me: I dont know why I see your face, like buay song(not happy) like that.
Nikki: why?
Me: I dont know.
Me: I think if i irritate you, I will feel better. -Sings umbrella-

-teacher talks in class-
Me: What is tapered pants arh?
Andrew: -stands up and folds his pants to show me how tapered pants look like-
Me: If people who got fat thighs wear not nice leh.
Andrew: Of course lah, only sexy legs like mine deserve to wear tapered pants.

Me: -talks to some korean girl-
Miss Wong: xinyi, go back to yours seat.
Me: But i need to socialise with my counterparts! -returns to seat-

Ahaha, yeah. Inferring from the title, I would stop production for quite some time. But but but! Win, dew and I are gonna start thinking of an idea for sdma and if we can start sooner rather than later than we would. I dont know if its just gonna be three of us, cause it seems like its only gonna be 3 of us with shalyn gone and all. I'm hoping that we can do one more short film but seems like time is always running out.

5, 6, 7, 8... NaNaNa NaNaNaNa NaNaNa

This holiday had been a pretty fruitful one. I was in 5 video productions (including the current one I am working on) and 1 theatre production.

We did this video for sec1 orientation because we couldnt barbeque and at the same time perform and so we go for prerecorded performance. Idea was plagiarised from 5 filmmaking tips for dummies. The first 2 days of shooting went quite well other than the fact where we had missing shots and all. We even had like spoof music video of 'You are the music in me'. Gosh, it was so funny!

For ben teh. Yes you, the one who fears forgetting the dv tape and pressing the record button (and not forgetting indigestion too)! I hope I didnt spoil it for you by telling you what it's about.

Twentyfour was fun. But uber stressful. So while we were at ECP. We made the cast play frisbee while we try and figure out the story. So we got like 20 minutes worth of frisbee playing when we only needed like 20 seconds?

Stayed over at sara's house. And mr weng went home! He asked sara to put us to bed.

Xinyi: How are you gonna know if we are asleep?
Mr weng: I'll drive pass sara's house [in the middle of the night] to see if the lights are still on.
(next day)
Xinyi: So did you drive pass?
Mr weng: Wanted to. But I couldnt get up.

LOL. We told him that the guys and girls slept together but he didnt seemed bothered. Oh yeah, we got chased out of siglap macs too. So we ended up at some kopitiam which doesnt have anything at all probably cause its sooo late in the night.

Hmm, just wondering which of the following is better. To have bad memories or to reminisce about good past and know that you can never have them back again. I suppose its the same perspective as looking a glass half filled. It could either be half full or half empty.

Just like how 'Heroes' have a tagline 'Save the Cheerleader. Save the world.', we also have a tagline of our own! Maybe not tagline, more like punch line. Chilli? What chilli? Who cares about the chilli?! It's just a myth. Dont be so superstitious larhhh!

Dedicated to bestfriends, Team 2046(the team I'd never forget) and to those out there who strongly believed in me!(: Eh, starwars marathon with crew?(dew, you better turn up. cause that would be really the last team bonding) And notice how Shalyn go,'Yarhhh!' We have been imitating her 'Yarh' everytime we capture the video or edit it. We didnt even let her off on the last day. But the sad thing is that she's gonna leave.

Basically, a three week production. Though not what I expected to be, but better than I thought it would turn out. Although tip 5 is quite subtle, I hope you get it. If you dont, you can ask me personally. Cause I dont want to spoil it for others(hints mr weng)! The three-week production had been fun. Alot of good and bad things happened (let's just keep the bad to ourselves, ahem).

Scene1
We basically stole the extras from CO camp. Haha, sshh. They were very nice to help us. And melvin did a great job being the make-up artist. Thanks to Vivian and Priscilla. Gary was supposed to be the waterboy! And he ran away. Lucky we got moses!(: The shots were not bad but we should have gotten more different shots!

Scene2
I dont like the toilet though. Cause its quite uglyyy. But shots were still effective. Eerie cause of color correction.

Scene 3
Damn, we just totally picked the wrong day to film at the den because that day the band was having concert. So they were like walking in and out of the band room cause they had to change to their concert attire. I was quite irritated with the noise and all.(no offence though)

Scene4
Its the first time I had ever done a rain scene. We had a drizzle but it wasnt visually appealing enough that we had to rope in the 'rain god'. More like goddess

Scene 5
Fun, and I had to come out of the TV box like more than 10 times cause Zuhairi keep making silly mistakes.

When I brought my cast to the outdoor location, they were like 'wl, what is this place? So ulu. You filming kingkong arh?!' The forest is beside the school compound. We had to reshoot some parts cause we could see the fence. And we took like 15 minutes to walk from the photog room to the location. We decided not to walk back because we were too lazy. So we climbed over the fence into school. Yesterday by the time we finish editing, it was like 6.30pm. And we got caught by sabri. He scolded us. Man, asked for our names. I dont know what he's gonna do to us.

I'm not expecting to win anything. But quite pleased with performance. Though, I would prefer twentyfour anytime. And I realised that I had never uploaded 'Enjoy your teenhood'. Oh well, I suppose that would be a privilege for those who turned up for film fest. BTW, thanks for the endless supply of love.Life can be silhouetted. Its morally grey anyway.
